Later this year, top players from around the globe will converge in Saudi Arabia for a competition that shifts the spotlight from club-based battles, as seen in previous international tournaments, to head-to-head national match-ups. The inaugural The tournament is set to commence on November 2 to 29 and will feature a diverse lineup of games and contests. Although there are lingering questions about confirming the event’s location in Saudi Arabia, recent challenges in the region have been cited as possible factors behind previous venue shifts. Nonetheless, plans remain unchanged, and the 16 nations selected for the highly anticipated Dota 2 tournament have now been announced along with their respective rosters.

Additional teams will have an opportunity to join the competition through online regional qualifiers set for the summer. A further 16 slots will be made available, to be distributed among participants from across many global locations. The areas represented include:
