Surviving the Aftermath: A Glimpse into 28 Years Later

Years after the chilling events of 28 Days Later, the fate of humanity remains a topic of speculation. Questions arise about whether a treatment for the infection was found or if the population simply fell victim to the undead. The truth reveals that life persisted; survivors adapted, forming small, secluded groups.

In the recently released trailer, Aaron Taylor-Johnson is seen guiding a young boy, presumably his child, through the wild as they search for essential resources. The threat of zombies still looms large, interrupting their quest for survival in unexpected moments.

Additional survivors are also depicted, including a wild-eyed character played by Ralph Fiennes, who appears to be in a deranged state, collecting skulls in a remote forest area. Jodie Comer makes a fleeting appearance, and keen observers might spot Cillian Murphy in a brief cameo as a zombie.

This gripping sequel, titled 28 Years Later, is scheduled for debut on June 20, 2025.
