How to Edit an Instagram Video for Reels

Instagram has launched the Reels feature, which is in some ways similar to Chinese TikTok. The only difference is that you don't have to use a third-party app to record Reels on Instagram. All the necessary tools, including editing, are built into the platform.

At first glance, Reels are similar to Stories, only the duration of the video is longer. The new videos have many advantages:

  • Reels don't disappear 24 hours after publication;

  • The maximum video duration is 60 seconds, while Stories are limited to 15 seconds;

  • Reels can reach more than just your subscribers;

  • Posted videos are saved in your feed;

  • Use many more cool effects to record Reels than you can use for record Stories.
